Bridging the university gap!

Liverpool John Moores business student, Tom Honeybourne, has joined the team at Bridging Finance Solutions during the summer term break from University.

Tom will begin his third year of studies in September following a three month work placement with BFS, returning with sound experience and a keen understanding of how a bridging lender works.

Tom said: “I’m learning lots here at Bridging Finance Solutions. They are incredibly busy and everything moves at a really fast pace. Working with customers from the initial enquiry, I support the team as they access the application through to the point of an offer. Deals can be completed within days which is amazing.”

Tom has previously spent time with a mortgage brokerage firm and was keen to develop his understanding and explore how a lender operates.

He added: “It’s great to work with a different finance business that operates from a totally different perspective, as this gives me a more balanced awareness of how the wider finance market operates. Everyone at BFS has been incredibly supportive and helped me develop my knowledge of the bridging industry.”
