New appointment boosts team at BFS

Paul Gammond has joined the team at Bridging Finance Solutions, taking on the new role of Business Development Manager.

Having held both banking and bridging roles in his career, Paul, joins BFS with the aim of identifying new opportunities as the property market continues to recover.  As confidence returns, buyers are exploring options and bridging is increasingly being recognised as a mainstream short term finance solution to enable buyers to make a purchase.

Paul will be working with brokers, professional advisors, as well as builders and developers, outlining the bridging process, providing lending solutions and discussing relevant opportunities to support clients.

Paul, 27 and from Manchester said: “My background is mainly finance and I have worked in the bridging industry early on in my career. This sector can be incredibly fast paced and bucks the general finance trend by allowing buyers to secure money quickly and do the deal that they are looking to do. It’s great to be out and about again speaking to existing and potential customers, discussing their needs and considering how bridging may help them, with a cost effective and flexible product .”

Paul is working across the North predominantly, however, the firm does have a national customer base with clients in the South and Scotland. Bridging Finance Solutions is the only Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) accredited bridging firm in Merseyside and one of only a handful in the North West.

Paul added: “BFS definitley have one of the strongest reputations in the North for reputable lending with extremely competitive rates and terms. Ultimately my aim is to expand and strengthen the customer base and capitalise on a growing market, signposting buyers to bridging as an effective alternative, complimenting traditional lending solutions.”
